WEBSITE

CoDA.org update - issues being worked on:

  • Website: We have experienced a number of recurring challenges with the website in general, we are strongly considering changing the web server to one we previously used. Our web developer is gathering quotes from different companies; we are waiting for his findings.

  • Meeting Search Issues:
We updated the meeting details to have BOTH the meeting time and time-zone, as well as the converted meeting time and time-zone. This is so that the user always has the option to manually convert the meeting time if for example the automatic time-zone converter does not work correctly for any reason or if the user does not use it effectively. It will also help us debug if there is ever a complaint about a meeting time not converting correctly.

  • Member Resources page: 4th option Audio Visual pages are now there.

  • 40 Questions: they are currently under The “Member Resources” tab, then click on  “What Do You Think”
  • CoDAteen Materials can be found under The “Member Resources” tab, then click on  “What Do You Think”
  • Meeting updates Our Fellowship Service Worker (FSW) who handles all meeting updates is unavailable for the next 2 weeks and will not be processed until December 15th. Members can enter the information as normal, but it will not appear on the website until the FSW returns.
  • Drafting Voting Entity Literature: Material to be available, working on how to allow for feedback on the website. It is in process.

  • GC: Update one of the sliders: Remove the Covid slider and replace with “Pending Conference Approval - Draft Literature” Unanimous approval

AI: Web Liaison will change the Pending Conference Approval DRAFT Voting Entity Literature to Pending Conference Approval - Draft Literature (LINK)

  • Save the Date for 2023 CSC is being installed on our website. Needs a PDF flier for the Events page from the Events committee.

TASK FORCES:

  • Delegates Relations Task Force DRTF@coda.org:
    Board Liaison: Katherine, Backup: Tina
Report: They have not met since the last time the Board met. They have selected a Chair and Vice Chair and Secretary and have approved their Board Liaisons. Quarterly rotation on service.

  • Alternate Format Meeting Task Force (AFMTF) AlternativeFormatMeeting@CoDA.org
    Board Liaison: Florence, Backup: Faith
Report: Met last Thursday, meeting weekly, going a little slow. They are working toward getting support for 2 delegates to attend 2023 CSC. Working on getting 2 Delegates and having a Group Service Representative (GSR) for each meeting. Need to invite GSRs to the meeting. There was some confusion about intergroups and voting entities which Florence provided clarification. They believe that 2 delegates is not enough. Talk about splitting by language, time zones, etc. She provided information about the bylaws and the Issues Mediation Committee’s (IMC) role in the Voting Entity (VE) splitting process. The Fellowship Service Manual (FSM) has detailed information about splitting a VE; suggested sharing the information with them. Remind them that all VE’s are permitted 2 delegates.
  •
  • Gender Inclusive Language Task Force (GILTF@CoDA.org) :
  • Board Liaison: Faith, Backup: Lisa
Report: 10 volunteers thus far. They need to go on the email alias.

AI: Faith will send the 10 GILTF volunteers’ email addresses to the Email Coordinator to be added to the GILTF email alias.
