Subject: [list_settings.list_name]: Upcoming Local CoDA Events & The Website Change
Date: July 21st 2014

We are planning on sending you an email regarding local CoDA Events
in the next couple weeks.

We have reason to believe that a few events that were listed on the old
website inadvertently may not have made the transition to the new site.
This email is to double check to make sure that no event information was
accidentally lost!

If you sent in a local event in the last 2-3 months, you may want to
check the new calendar to see if it is listed.

You can find the calendar here:

http://coda.org/index.cfm/calendar/

Please click on the right arrow at the top of each month until you get
to the month your event is scheduled for. If you have sent in
information & your event is listed, all is well; no action is required.

If your CoDA event is not listed, &/or if you have a scheduled event,
but have not yet sent in information regarding the event, please email
Dominic, our webmaster at webmaster@coda.org. He will add your event to
the Events Calendar on the CoDA web site.

Here is a general guide for getting your local CoDA event listed on the
CoDA website & on these quarterly events emails:

First in keeping with the traditions it must be
sponsored by a part of Codependents Anonymous (meeting,
intergroup, state organization, etc) & not by a professional
counselor, church group, etc

Please email our webmaster at webmaster@coda.org. He will add
your event to the Events Calendar on our web site
http://coda.org/index.cfm/calendar

Please feel free to include any attachments (flier,
registration, etc) or if your community has a CoDA approved
web site, we can also link to the event on your site.

Also, we wanted the fellowship to be aware that with the new coda.org
website, the page naming protocol has changed significantly. What this
means is that if your local CoDA website has links back to coda.org,
many of them may need to be updated. Also, many coda bookmarks & internet
search results will no longer function; & the majority of links in our
email archives through June of 2014 are also no longer functional.
Our main web address continues to be www.coda.org

                              Thank You,
                              Geff R
