Acknowledging that we are all here for our personal recovery.
The mission of the CoDA Board of Trustees is to ensure the longevity and fiscal health
of the organization, to support the Fellowship’s ongoing service work,
to promote CoDA unity and to reach the still suffering codependents.

OPENING  (8:00 am – 8:05 am – 5 min)

Serenity Prayer: God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Step One: We admitted we were powerless over others - that our lives had become unmanageable.

Tradition One: Our common welfare should come first; personal recovery depends upon CoDA unity.

CoDA Service Concept One: The members of the Fellowship of Co-Dependents Anonymous, in carrying out the will of a loving Higher Power, advance their individual recoveries, work to insure the continuance of their groups and their program, and carry the message to codependents who still suffer. They may also collectively authorize and establish service boards or committees and empower trusted servants to perform service work.

Promise One: I know a new sense of belonging. The feeling of emptiness and loneliness will disappear.

In This Moment, what about me? Before CoDA, I was selfish, insecure, and took everything personally. It was always, “Why are they doing this to me?” “Why does this happen to me?” “What is wrong with me?” It was a selfish “me”.

In recovery, I'm learning what healthy relationships are and, more importantly, how to be int hem.l What give and take means. accepting others exactly as they are, even though their thoughts, ideas, and actions are different than mine. I have choices of participating in relationships or accepting that certain relationships are not good for me.

Members interested in joining the call must notify the Board in advance since a limited number of people may join each call. Advance notice of at least 24 hours is requested.
