Hello CoDA Fellowship,  

Your Literature Committee has decided to undertake an ambitious project. We have committed to creating a new daily meditation reader, similar to In this Moment. We are looking for written submissions from members that reflect inspiration and growth gained by reading CoDA literature.

We hope you will participate in this exciting venture, which is intended to reach the still suffering codependent. As a bonus, many find this kind of short, focused writing enhances their own recovery.

1. We welcome your written submissions of short meditations, between 150 – 200 words, or about one small page.
2. Please base your reflection on your personal experience, strength, and hope, gained by using CoDA endorsed literature while working the program of Codependents Anonymous. We ask you to use first person “I” statements.
3. It is suggested that you cite a short quote, perhaps one or two sentences, from CoDA endorsed literature is that personally resonates with you, the writer.
4. We are particularly looking for pieces that explore working the Steps, Traditions, or that reflect on the Promises. In addition, we welcome quotes from any CoDA publication that may have helped you along your journey or that you find helpful today.
5. Please include the title and edition of the publication you used, as well as the page number of your quote. This information will assist us to reference the quote in the new book.
6. You may submit your contribution by attaching the document in either .txt., .doc, or rtf format, a shared Google document file or simply send it in the body of an email, sent to one of the addresses below.
7. Any contributions will be gratefully acknowledged and in due course considered for the project with the intention of reaching the codependent who still suffers.
8. Please send your contributions to literature@coda.org or literature@codauk.org and be sure to include in the subject: New Daily Meditation Reader Contributions.
