Interpretation/Translation

The CoDA Fellowship encompasses multiple languages worldwide, and the CoDA Board recognizes that it is challenging for those who do not speak English to follow CoDA World events and activities, such as, the CoDA Service Conference, CoDA International Convention, Board meetings, and World Committees.

Voting Entities and Intergroups already play an active role in translatIng CoDA literature, to carry the message of recovery to the still-suffering codependent in a language they are comfortable with.  The Board encourages Voting Entities, Intergroups, and other CoDA community service groups to use the same process to organize bilingual members who are willing to interpret during the CoDA Service Conference and other CoDA World Events. As these groups take on the task of interpreting during such events as the annual CoDA Service Conference (CSC) that gives CoDA direction, these events will become familiar to members, no matter what language they speak.

Developing a group conscience requires an informed fellowship, & to be effective trusted servants those you've elected must know the group conscience of the fellowship.
