HELP FROM info@coda.org

People look to CoDA for answers and help, not only in meetings but also to CoDA World Service. We volunteers stand ready to pass on the wisdom and support we have received. But we are oh so few and self-care guides us to ask for some of you to supplement our numbers.

“We” are the CoDA Email Team, organized through the Communications Committee and receiving emails sent to info@coda.org . We field routine questions about meeting info, CoDA events, literature use, but also by people in crisis as is clear from what they write or say.

In either case, we make clear we are part of this Fellowship in recovery. Being able to provide that little gesture of humanity makes worthwhile all the effort it takes over alternative ways of responding.

If this is how you might want to carry the message and show your gratitude for what you have received, contact the Email Team at info@coda.org. We will get back to you with more information about the work and our process of bringing you into the work. We look forward to hearing from you.

Per the 2nd tradition, For our group purpose there is but one ultimate authority, a loving higher power as expressed to our group conscience. Our leaders are but trusted servants; they do not govern. Developing a group conscience requires an informed fellowship, & to be effective trusted servants those you've elected must know the group conscience of the fellowship.
