The 2019 Service Conference Motions are out!

You can download them as a single Zip Packet at: http://www.codependents.org/2019_CSC_Motions_And_VEIs.zip

Or you can download either the separate motions, most forms, &/or the motions zip packet here:

http://coda.org/index.cfm/service-info/delegate-package/2019-delegate-package/

Other items & a second zip file will be out by mid July & August.

There is also a page on coda.org devoted to the CoDA Convention:

http://coda.org/index.cfm/world-service-events/

We will email you regarding more Conference related items coming out in the coming days; but the motions are of primary interest to the fellowship, as they are what your delegates will be voting on.

You will find a document entitled, "Instructions To Delegate Packet.docx" inside of the zip folders & also posted separately on the coda.org link explaining your options. We hope this additional option makes reading &/or printing relevant sections of the delegate packet easier for all.

The following is taken from the CoDA Fellowship Service Manual. It discusses that one of your delegate's most important duties is to represent your group conscience at Conference!

"3. Check with the communities for all membership group conscience on items to be brought to the Conference".

If you and your meeting has the time to read the motions & let your delegates know how you would like them to vote, that would be wonderful. The goal is for every member of the CoDA Fellowship to have a voice.

Also, if your "Voting Entity" (your local intergroup, CoDA State Organization, etc) wishes to submit a "Voting Entity Issue" (VEI) (request for a CoDA policy change) please send it to submitcsc@coda.org by 8/9/19. There will be an additional email in the coming days explaining this process. Here is a link to an audio presentations on this issue from last year:

Lastly, The Service Conference Is starting 1 month earlier than last year, & at this point we only have 7 delegates registered. If you have been selected as a delegate by your CoDA Voting Entity, we'd greatly appreciate it if you would register soon, so we can get information to you that will assist in compiling a group concience of the portion of the fellowship you are representing & other relevant information. Delegates may register here:

If you need any technical assistance with Zip Files, please contact Geff R, the CoDA Email Fellowship Service Worker, at codalist@coda.org

Please be aware printed copies of the delegate packet will not be available at Conference. If that is an issue for you, please contact Events at cec@coda.org
