Faith
Step 3: Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God, as we understood God.
The spiritual principle of this step is faith. Faith put into practice is what helps me to remain in the present, because if I turn my will and my life over to the care of god everything will be O.K. The people I love will be cared for in a way I could never do it. I no longer need to have a foot in my past because god already took care of me and has a great plan for me in the future. That way I can live in today. I can work and be productive. I can read a book and learn new things since my brain is not occupied in how to change the past or how to control the future and all the obsessive negative thoughts.
I can recognize the blessing that I have today. God is taking care of the people I love the
same way as he is taking care of me.
