We have a favor to ask of our members who use gmail.
On the bottom of every email we send out there is a link that says,
"Want to remove yourself from this mailing list at any time? Use this link:"
& right below that, is a link. By using that method you can easily unsubscribe from the list.
We would greatly appreciate it if you would not use the gmail "unsubscribe" or "spam" button.
There are 2 reasons:
1. Everytime someone unsubscribes in that manner, gmail puts it down as a negative "mark" against CoDA; the more of those they see, the less chance that members wanting to receive our emails will get them. Today, we had one person push the spam button 7 times!
2. When you push the gmail "unsubscribe" or "spam" button, a paid CoDA "special worker" has to manually unsubscribe you. This takes away from your 7th tradition donations, & from the time that "special worker" has allotted for other tasks for the good of CoDA.
While we hope you'll never want to unsubscribe from the CoDA email lists, again CoDA would greatly appreciate it if you choose to do so if you would be willing to click on the link in the email as mentioned above.
Thank you!!!!
In Service,
Geff R CoDA Email List Coordinator
