HELLO CoDA DELEGATES AND FELLOWSHIP!

This is the "encouraging" part of the Election process when we reach out to each and everyone of You. The CoDA Board of Trustees has "5" positions open for Election. With "3" Alternate positions also to be filled.

The CoRE Board of Directors has "3" Alternate positions to be filled also. This Election will take place at the 2015 International CoDA Service Conference on Thursday, July 16, 2015 in Concord, California. Applications for Board of Trustees and CoRE Board of Directors of Co-Dependents Anonymous, Inc. are available by using this link to the CoDA website:

"Board of Trustees Position Description"

Trustees adheres to the principles of our program while conducting service work. Specifically, they use Step Ten for guidance and insight, and adhere to Tradition Two as they honor the validity of the group conscience process. This service position is demanding, and therefore the potential for reward through recovery is also great. CoDA Board service is great and rewarding Twelfth Step work.

(Ref. CoDA Bylaws Article Vll) CoDA Board can be up to eleven members and two alternates. A Trustee is elected to a three-year term. A maximum of two terms may be served with a lapse of at least two years between terms.

"Board of Trustees - Alternate Position Description"

Alternate Trustees are elected by the CSC, with the consideration of the candidates' capabilities and experience in the same qualifications for a Trustee. To learn each function of a Board member, how the board functions. Alternates serve for one year and then may be candidates to be elected as a voting member at the next CoDA Service Conference.

"CoRE Board of Directors Position Description"

The name of the corporation is CoDA Resource Publishing, Inc. Administers literature publication and distribution. Time consuming, volunteer position, any special skills as financial, editing, publishing, distribution, and would be able to serve the fellowship by being a member of CoRE?

"CoRE Board of Directors - Alternate's Position Description"

Alternate Directors will fill any vacancy in the Board of Directors occurring during the year that was elected by the Service Conference. Although applications are accepted up to the time of the CoDA Service Conference, we encourage nominees to send in applications as soon as possible. This is to give time for the delegates to review, ask questions, and be prepared to vote at conference.
